About DJ

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been drawn to the great outdoors and all things nature.

While others were busy playing dolls, or make believe tea parties, I was busy climbing trees, playing in the dirt, or watching spiders build their web.

It was not unusual for me to spend the day with my dog and head out the door to the nearby woods.  Once there,  I would lose all track of time exploring the nooks and crannies, bugs and birds, and the occasional deer that was unaware of my presence.

In those days, my tools for capturing the beauty of creation was a pencil, a stick of charcoal, and a pad of artist paper.

Now grown, I find that not too much has changed. Creation and all its splendor still commands my attention and I look for avenues to enjoy it.

Just like then, I still enjoy the companionship of my dog, Binky, who is more than eager to join me on “camera” walks. In fact the only thing that seems to have changed, outside of my age and climbing trees, is an exchange of my earlier tools, pencils and paper, for a digital camera.

I’m nothing more than your average backyard photographer who journeys into woods, mountains, state parks, oceans and Zoo’s to capture the sights of God’s creation through my camera lens and it is here on Path Pictures that I can share my Living Art suspended in time with others.

So welcome to Path Pictures and  please feel free to leave comments and or tips.  I am always willing to make new friends and learn how to take better pictures.
