The Sign of Promise
I was able to capture this rainbow from the view of my kitchen window which appeared instantly after a mid-day thunderstorm had past through our area.
It reminded me of this promise.
“I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the promise between Me and the earth.”
“It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud,”
“And I will remember my promise which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh, the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.”
“The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting promise between God and every living creature of all flesh and that is on the earth.” Genesis 9:13-16
The Light Prevails
I am captivated by the calm center of this picture where the light is at its strongest.
It reminds me that when we draw nearer to the “Light” all darkness and turmoil ceases to follow.
Jesus said, “I come as the light into the world, that whosoever believes in me should not abide in darkness.” John 12:46
The Signature of God
Some times the heavens just commands your attention. Ever wonder why?
Perhaps it’s a gentle reminder that there is something bigger then any problem that we may be experiencing. Perhaps it’s God saying, “I Am here, look to Me.”
I like to think of the ever changing sky-scape as the signature of God, who creates a brand new picture for each new day.
His Glory Shines
Then Moses said to Aaron, “Say to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, ‘Come near before the LORD, for he has heard your grumbling.”
And as soon as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
Winter Ornaments
Seed pods that just won’t drop.
How interesting to view this tree during the Christmas season. Its seed pods look like ornaments.
